Welcome to the Financial Literacy Resource Centre, designed to help you find learning materials that are right for your adult learners. You can take time to browse or go right to what you want with the aid of our powerful Search.
We welcome suggestions from you about other materials not currently listed and there is also a facility for users to provide feedback and comments on listed materials they have used.
The Search Resource is a powerful tool that enables Practitioners to focus their requirements very closely by picking out particular features they are looking for. For example, you can look for materials that address reading skills at Entry Level 3 and cover the topic of gathering financial information and record keeping
Browsing for a resource enables Practitioners to locate resource based on their type. For example, you can look through all the paper based resources or alternatively all the resources available on CD.
If you know of another resource that is available for others to use but is not included on our list please let us know so that we can include details about it.
Similarly, if you are the publisher of a resource, you can send us a review copy or indicate where materials can be found on the internet so that we can add them to the list.
To help adult learning practitioners find their way through all these options, in 2004 the Basic Skills Agency commissioned a review of available resources for Financial Literacy. The aim was to produce a guide that would provide basic information about each resource along with an indication of topics covered and skill levels addressed.
